Per Ordinance § 91.030, each owner, keeper and person in charge of any dog shall, before May 1 in each year, pay a license fee. An updated rabies certificate is necessary with registration. Any registration after May 1, there will be an additional $25.00 charge.
Per Ordinance § 72.01, the person operating the golf cart shall obtain a permit from the city’s Municipal Finance Office to operate the golf cart on municipal streets and highways within its platted boundaries. The fee for said permit shall be $20. Any established golf cart business shall be exempt from permit fee. Proof of insurance shall be required for all permits, as provided in SDCL§§ 32-14-13, 32-14-14, and 32-14-16. Fees may be reviewed by the Common Council from time to time and updated by resolution.
The current fee amount is $30. A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is necessary at time of application.
