Services We Offer

1. Book Collection: Explore our extensive collection of books, including fiction, non-fiction, children’s literature, and more. From bestsellers to classics, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

2. Digital Resources: Access a variety of digital resources, including e-books, audiobooks, online databases, and digital magazines, from the comfort of your own home.

About Us

Since its organization in 1872, the library has long been a source of knowledge and opportunity in the community. Renamed in hour of Evelyn Lang, a beloved educator and advocate for literacy, the library strives to carry on her legacy by promoting lifelong learning and literacy for all. In 2023, we strengthened that legacy by gaining federal recognition as a public library in South Dakota. Our vision is to make this library the vibrant community cornerstone it was always meant to be. 

How to Access Our Services

Visit us in person at 605 8th St, Springfield, SD 57062 during our regular hours of operation to browse our collection, use our computers, and participate in library programs. You can also access many of our resources online through https://evelynlang.yoursdlibrary.org
